Frequently Asked Questions

At this time, sessions are not live, but our mentoring service provides a detailed walkthrough via video-call once your track is completed.

Yes! We’re happy to offer mixing-only or mastering-only services depending on your needs. Just head over to the services section of our site and you’ll find what you need. For mixing-only, just send us your stems and we’ll deliver a finished stereo mix ready for mastering. For mastering-only, provide your final stereo mixdown (No Limiting on the Master Bus please!) and we’ll ensure it’s loud, clear and optimized for streaming platforms . If you’re not sure which you need, feel free to ask — we’re happy to advise.

We can work with most video-call services (Google Meets, Zoom etc) . Google Meets works from within Gmail and Zoom is a free to download video conferencing software.

We do! Each full Mix & Master package includes one free round of revisions. Additional revisions can be added for a small fee. We’ll work with you to get the sound you’re after.

We are not DAW specific – so yes! Our mentoring sessions focus on fundamentals that apply to any DAW. While we can offer advice on choosing or setting up your DAW, our goal is to teach you concepts and techniques—like EQ, compression, gain staging, and workflow—that are universal. Whether you use Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Studio, or any other software, you’ll get valuable, transferable skills you can apply right away.

We prefer WeTransfer, it is secure and free to you. Once you book a package, we’ll send you an email with full instructions. For mixing, please send stems (individual instrument tracks), for mastering (if we are not doing the mix), send a final stereo mixdown with no limiting on the master bus.

Turnaround time is typically 3–5 business days depending on project complexity and how many jobs are in the queue. Faster delivery may be available upon request.

Our Mentor Only option is perfect if you want expert guidance without submitting a track. We tailor the session to your questions and skill level, making it ideal for both beginners and more experienced producers looking to level up. Whether you need some advice on buying the right gear set up – potentially saving you $$$$’s – or how to use compression, EQ, vocal chains, using VST’s or hardware, we can help.

Yes — we’ve designed the mentoring sessions to be especially beginner-friendly. Whether you’re new to production or looking to sharpen your skills, we’ll explain everything clearly and offer actionable advice.

It varies dependent on what the track and genre requires. We use a hybrid analogue-digital workflow, so it is a combination of those elements. High-end analogue gear delivers warmth, depth, and punch, while industry-standard digital tools ensure precision and clarity. The final 2 stages in the master are usually (but not always) the Rupert Neve Master Bus Processor and Fabfilter L2 Limiter

We work in all genres including ambient, electronic, hip-hop, pop, and acoustic music. That said, we’re open to all styles — feel free to point us to a demo or reference track if you’re unsure.

Each package includes a full stereo mix and master, delivered as high-resolution WAV. The Essential Mix, Master 30-Minute Mentor package includes a half-hour Video call session where we explain the decisions made during mixing and mastering along with solutions you yourself can practice. The Premium Mix, Master 60-Minute Mentor package offers a deeper dive into the workflow, with more room for feedback, education, and revision planning. The Mentor Only option is ideal for artists who want insight into the process or help without submitting audio.

The 30-minute session provides a concise breakdown of how we did your mix and your master, ideal for artists who want a high-level overview. The 60-minute session allows more detailed feedback, discussion of specific tools used, and time for Q&A. It’s better suited for those looking to learn or improve their own production skills.
